    • Formula for Men:BMR=88.362+(13.397×Weight)+(4.799×Height)−(5.677×Age)BMR=88.362+(13.397×Weight)+(4.799×Height)−(5.677×Age)
    • Formula for Women:BMR=447.593+(9.247×Weight)+(3.098×Height)−(4.330×Age)BMR=447.593+(9.247×Weight)+(3.098×Height)−(4.330×Age)
  • Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE):
    • TDEE is the total number of calories you burn in a day, including physical activity.
    • Formula:TDEE=BMR×Activity LevelTDEE=BMR×Activity Level
    • Activity Levels:
      • Sedentary: 1.2 (little or no exercise)
      • Lightly active: 1.375 (light exercise/sports 1-3 days/week)
      • Moderately active: 1.55 (moderate exercise/sports 3-5 days/week)
      • Very active: 1.725 (hard exercise/sports 6-7 days/week)

  • Example Calculation:
    • For a 30-year-old male, weighing 70 kg, height 175 cm, and moderately active:
      • BMR = 88.362+(13.397×70)+(4.799×175)−(5.677×30)≈166288.362+(13.397×70)+(4.799×175)−(5.677×30)≈1662 calories.
      • TDEE = 1662×1.55≈25761662×1.55≈2576 calories.
